If you are in Morelia on a Saturday, don’t miss lighting up time at the cathedral and the spectacular fireworks display at dusk. The views from the terrace of the bar in the Hotel Juaninos are fabulous, and with a delicious margarita in hand, there is no better place or way to welcome the evening. And there are many other places to relax and enjoy a drink. The bar at the Hotel Casa San Diego is a sure bet at any time, and for a table with a view, the terrace of the restaurant in the Hotel Villa San José is wonderful. At night, things get lively at the Quarry Diez bar and the Café Europa in the arcades around the main square and the Barezzito is a must for the cool set. If you prefer having a quiet drink avoiding the noisy revelry, the bar at Los Mirasoles is ideal.
