Only 19 km . away is Santa Clara del Cobre, where you can visit artisan workshops of beaten copper. The distance from Pátzcuaro to Uruapan by highway is 55 Km . The River Cupatitzio passes through Uruapan ; and the Eduardo Ruíz National Park should be visited, with its exuberant vegetation, paths and hanging bridges.
